{"id":771,"date":"2025-01-15T09:38:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-15T07:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imbalplast.blog\/resolutions-for-2025\/"},"modified":"2025-02-11T17:24:05","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T15:24:05","slug":"resolutions-for-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imbalplast.blog\/en\/resolutions-for-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW YEAR\u2019S RESOLUTIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we were kids writing our letters to Santa, after listing all the presents we wished to receive, on our mum\u2019s advice, we ended the letters promising to be better, kinder, and more obedient. Was it a way to cozy up Santa or did we truly want to properly behave? Mum\u2019s hope was that this <strong>would make us reflect on our lacks for a few minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Year after year, the tradition of New Year\u2019s resolutions got lost, maybe because they are hard to complete, since they require perseverance and self-discipline \u2013 like when starting a diet \u2013 or, possibly, because we identify wishes that no longer belong to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet, thinking about the harsh times we live in, the sense of anguish and helplessness in front of wars, violence, the uncertainty of young people, and the ever-growing moral crisis, we should ask ourselves if it\u2019s the case <strong>to get back to the good old habit of New Year\u2019s resolutions.<\/strong> This is not to solve bigger-than-us issues or to focus on ourselves only; this is to look at all those who surround us, and to spread that aura of hope and trust we all need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We talked about this theme in Imbalplast and, even if we have always been very active participants in Soncino\u2019s community life, we <strong>strongly believe that these harsh times require further attention<\/strong>. Our 2025 resolution starts here: we would like to talk with <strong>young people and to support them<\/strong> for a more stable future; then, we would also like to find solutions that <strong>could improve the wellbeing of our employees <\/strong>and take care of our territory, with sustainable choices. Our life vision is led by family values; those give a sense to our existence, being focused on education and respect, on the faculty to choose between good and evil, on sharing and ethics, on human relationships and feelings. That is why today \u2013 more than ever \u2013 <strong>these values should go beyond the walls of our houses<\/strong> and guide the actions and thoughts of us all.
