It was an intense and satisfying four days. In such a prestigious international setting as INDEX 26, which, with 625 exhibitors from 44 countries<\/strong>, showcased the excellence of nonwovens and flexible pakaging, Imbalplast cashed in on great praise and confirmation to support its value chain in the hygiene and sanitation sector. <\/p>\n

The central theme of the 2026 edition of the fair<\/strong> highlighted the need to integrate environmental responsibility with technical excellence, a challenge that has long been a must in Imbalplast’s strategy, guaranteed by no less than 9 certifications. <\/p>\n\n

Visitors’ interest was captured <\/strong>by the wide range of packaging made from sustainable plastics of different origins, from post-industrial second life to Mix-eco second life to post-consumer and post-industrial recycled plastics. A green mission, recently honored with the Sustainability Award, coupled with achievements of increasingly high-performance innovative technical milestones, also awarded the prestigious BestInFlexo related to excellence in flexographic printing. <\/p>\n

As a testament to Imbalplast’s sustainable <\/strong>orientation, a light installation <\/strong>made with strands of LEDs wrapped, like bows, with the bags used for makeup remover pads, the ones with the string, was displayed in the booth. A great eye-catcher! <\/p>\n

But that’s not all, the booth also featured a sculpture by Soncinese artist Jona <\/strong>, who created the symbol of the circular economy by salvaging plastic scraps and waste. Jona is also known for initiating an art project dedicated to the world of the blind, creating works with Braille language<\/strong> that are touring several Italian cities. <\/p>\n

This year’s event also coincided with the celebration of the company’ s 50th anniversary<\/strong>, a milestone that combines the craftsmanship experience of its origins with the technological innovation that, for four generations now, has distinguished a family unit, that of the Alzani family, <\/strong> and that has accompanied it successfully to Geneva. <\/p>\n\n
